The Receiver Mounted Shell Carrier is also available for Remington pump action shotguns.

IMPORTANT FOREND ADVISORY: If your shotgun is equipped with a field grade forend that extends onto the sides of the receiver, it will hit the shell carrier and not cycle fully. To remedy; shorten the length of the forend or equip with an alternate, compatible forend such as Adaptive's EX-Performance.

Love my new Adaptive Tactical mounted shell carrier which I have paired with an Adaptive Tactical 45-round bandolier. Install on my Mossberg 590 was easy, and between the two and chamber rounds, I have easy access to 61 rounds! Both carry very light weight and function flawlessly.

3 stars because, product is what I wanted but no where was it mentioned beforehand that you need to change out fore end to mount it. It would have been nice to know it ahead of time. Also no directions came with it in package. Do you have to knock out back pin or what. No illustrations no anything so a three. Will now be ordering the fore end but it wasn't t in stock when this was ordered anyway

Bought the 6-round receiver mount ammo carrier for Mossberg 500....initially extremely tight fit to ammo. Very difficult to remove. The applied light coat of silicone spray to inside of rubber tubes, inserted six rounds 12-ga and let sit for two days. Removed ammo, wiped rubber to remove any excess silicone. Now perfect. Ammo holds retention but easy to remove. When rubber is new and bone-dry, too tactile. Too tight. Too much friction in rubber grips grabs shells too firmly. Now with break-in, good to go. Very satisfied. Mounting to receiver easy. Leave rear sex screw loose before installing front nut in order to align nut shoulder fully into base. Then tighten.

I like the product the holes are tight for my 12 gauge shells but maybe they will loosen in time.

Good solid mount, works very well, one improvement I would suggest is to have snap off cassettes so when shells are depleted, it's easy to snap on 6 more
